New Section Added to our Inspection Report Template - Plant Safety

We’ve recently made an update to our Safety Culture Inspection Report that we’d like to make you all aware of.

A new section has been introduced focusing specifically on plant safety observations. This includes items such as the use of seatbelts, ROPS (Roll Over Protection Systems), flashing beacons, mirrors, and other key safety features when operating plant equipment.

The purpose of introducing this section is to give greater visibility to how plant is being operated on site and to highlight safe behaviours in a more structured way. We’ve noticed an increasing number of observations relating to plant safety in recent reports, and rather than these being grouped into general comments, we want to capture and assess them more clearly and consistently.

By separating this into its own section, it allows us to:

  • Better track trends relating to plant operation

  • Reinforce the importance of critical safety features such as seatbelt use

  • Identify both good practices and areas for improvement more effectively

  • Support continued focus on reducing risk associated with plant activities

‍This change is ultimately about strengthening our reporting and ensuring we continue to promote and recognise safe behaviours across all operations.
